Following the 2003 acquisition of Hyperstone, CML (USA) has recently obtained registration to include Hyperstone, Inc. in its ISO9001:2000 quality system. This is in addition to the existing registrations held by CML Microcircuits (UK) and (USA) and is an important step in the continued commercial success of Hyperstone in the USA. Given this certification, CML (CML (UK) and CML (USA)) has met specific quality standards in Customer service, Design and Manufacture and is committed to meeting Customer Requirements to ensure Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement throughout the organization. ISO 9001 is an evolving quality management system that not only shows that a company has documented its quality management principles and procedures, but also shows that the company operates according to them. The new standard allows CML to establish a quality management system based on its activities in meeting customer needs rather than just on the needs of the standard.
